
The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic service and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any item you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR:
Our professional service charge includes but is not limited to counseling, availability on a 24-hour basis, consultation with family and clergy, assistance of staff in all necessary phases of arrangements, obtaining, preparation and filing of necessary notices, authorizations and consents, certificates and permits; coordinating with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g., cemetery, crematory, others, and assistance to family following funeral and final disposition. Included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory expenses.
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burial, and forwarding and receiving remains.)

EMBALMING:
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require it, such as a direst cremation or immediate burial.

USE OF FACILITIES AND FUNERAL DIRECTOR SERVICES FOR VIEWING:
Use of visitation or viewing rooms per day or portion there of including but not limited to family rooms and reception area. Our services include set-up of visitation area, placement of encased remains, display of floral arrangement, supervision and attendance during the visitation.
USE OF FACILITIES AND FUNERAL DIRECTOR SERVICES FOR FUNERAL:
CEREMONY / RITE / SERVICE
Use of service rooms (two hours)
including but not limited to family room and reception area (in lieu
of funeral home facilities all necessary equipment and additional
staff for church funeral or funerals conducted from family
residences.) Our services include coordinating the funeral arrangements, supervision of funeral, and staff to attend the funeral ceremony.
USE OF FACILITIES AND FUNERAL DIRECTOR FOR MEMORIAL SERVICE:
Our services include, but not limited to, coordinating memorial service, and staff to attend the service. This charge include the use of the service room (two hours) including but not limited to family room and reception area (in lieu of funeral home facilities, this includes all necessary equipment and additional staff for memorial service at alternative location)
USE OF EQUIPMENT AND FUNERAL DIRECTOR FOR GRAVESIDE SERVICE:
Our service includes but is not limited to transport of remains or
cremains to cemetery, supervision of graveside service.

FORWARDING REMAINS:
Forwarding of remains to another
funeral home includes: The removal of deceased, service of the
staff, embalming, receptacle for transportation, necessary
authorizations, transport to airport and a share of overhead cost.
It does not include services of the staff or the use of funeral
chapel for any visitation or funeral service.
RECEIVING OF REMAINS:
Receiving of remains / cremains from another funeral home include: Temporary shelter, transport to the cemetery / crematory and required services of staff, and a share of overhead cost. It does not include: services of the staff or the use of the funeral home for viewing or funeral service, nor at the graveside.
IMMEDIATE BURIAL:
Charges for immediate burial (without any attended rites or ceremonies) include: Removal and shelter of deceased, local transport to cemetery, necessary service of staff at cemetery and obtaining information for permits and obituary, and the filing of both and share of overhead cost.

DIRECT CREMATION:
Our charge for direct cremation
without any attendant rites or ceremonies include but not limited
to: Removal and shelter of deceased, transport to crematory,
necessary services of staff in gathering information for necessary
permits and obituary and filing of both, and proportionate share of
overhead cost.
( Pennsylvania Rules and regulation # 13.201 6(i) requires that any human remains held 24 hours beyond death shall be embalmed or sealed in a container that will not allow fumes or odors to escape or kept under refrigeration . So long that this does not conflict with any religious belief or medical examination.)
Alternative containers can be used for direct cremation, they encase the body and are made of materials like fiberboard (with or without outside covering) or heavy cardboard.
