Agnes Christine Sadusky

Agnes Christine (Chris) Sadusky, 87, formerly of Luzerne, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on the evening of Sunday, December 20, 2020 at The Gardens at East Mountain, Plains. She was born January 6, 1933 in Dublin, Ireland, a daughter of the late Peter and Bridget (Murphy) Gough. Mrs. Sadusky was a member of Holy Family Parish and past President of the Ladies of Assumpta of the Knights of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sadusky, her daughter, Susan Jayne Betts, her three brothers and three sisters. Surviving are her children: Deborah Casey and her husband, Glenn, Lee Sadusky and his wife, Ann, Dorothy (Dee)Jenkins and her former husband, Wayne; grandchildren: Erin and Brian Harchar, Patrick and Matthew Flynn, Brianna, Miranda and Aiden Jenkins, and Ryan and Tim Casey; great grandchildren: Alysha, Anthony, and Reign Harchar, Reagan, Cianan, and Rylee Harchar. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and her best friend Hazel Southwell. Chris enjoyed traveling which allowed her many wonderful memories with family and friends. She was most relaxed when knitting or crocheting. She was a talented seamstress creating many works of art for her family including baptismal robes & first Holy Communion dresses. Her kind heart and talented hands will be greatly missed. The funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Ltd., 568 Bennett Street, Luzerne, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in Holy Family Parish. Relatives and friends attending must comply with CDC recommendations for COVID prevention by following social distancing and wearing protective face masks.
