Anthony Sweetra

Anthony (Tony) Sweetra, 57, of Kingston passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at his home. He was born February 14, 1964 in Kingston, a son of the late Robert and Helen Andruskevich Sweetra. He was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and was employed at Proctor and Gamble. He enjoyed the outdoors, music, cooking and eating, and spending time with numerous friends and family. Tony enjoyed having pets. He also volunteered and conducted fund raisers for the Make a Wish Foundation. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Sweetra, Jr. Surviving is his uncle Anthony Andruskevich and his wife, Anna Mae, Scranton; several cousins, and close family friend Jeanne Cooper, Kingston The funeral will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. from Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Ltd., 568 Bennett Street, Luzerne. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Family Parish. Interment will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Lehman. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
