Barbara B. Bugdonovitch

Barbara B. Bugdonovitch passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley ICU surrounded by her loving family. Born in Wilkes-Barre she was the daughter of the late Leon and Veronica Tirpak Stachowski. She was a 1964 graduate of Plains Memorial High School. She grew up in the Hudson section of Plains Township before moving to Pringle when she married her husband, John Bugdonovitch in 1967. Barbara and John were the owners of S.T & M Supply Company for many years. She was the secretary and treasurer for the company. She also worked as a teller in local banks. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne and was active in the Holy Name Society. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, John, who passed away on December 22, 2017. Her infant brother Raymond, brothers Leon Jr., and Edward Stachowski; sisters, Josephine Rygielski, Mary Biscontini, Johanna Nekrasz, and Bernice Wasinda also preceded her in death. Surviving are her children, Barbara Ann Price and husband John, Mountain Top, Brenda Glynn and husband, Jonathan, Mountain Top, and John J. Bugdonovitch and wife Carolyn, Nanticoke; grandchildren, Abigail and Payton Glynn, Logan and Jacob Price, Madelyn, Benjamin, and Evan Bugdonovitch; sister, Dorothy Bennick, Plains Township. Barbara was a beloved mother to her three children and she adored her seven grandchildren. She loved to cook and bake for the holidays with her family and she had a love of flowers! She will be eternally missed by all. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Geisinger Wyoming Valley ICU and Residential Home Health Palliative and Hospice for the care of Barbara during this difficult time. The funeral will be held Monday, October 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. from Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Ltd., 568 Bennett Street, Luzerne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 at Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. Friends and family may call Sunday October 24, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m.
