Bernadine S. Gusditis

Bernadine S. Gusditis, 70, of Slocum Township, passed away on January 26, 2025 at her home. She was born July 16, 1954 in Ashley a daughter of the late Philip and Sophie Good Straub.

A 1972 graduate of Hanover High School she enjoyed ceramics and crafting. For her 70th birthday she and her family enjoyed a 2000 mile drive across the western United States visiting Utah, the Grand Canyon and the California coastline.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Gusditis and brother, Walter Straub.

Surviving are her daughter, Yvette Helmbold and her husband Charles; grandchildren, Dillan Helmbold and fiancé George Benjamin, Jaidyn Helmbold and fiancé Jaiden Rodriguez; sisters Judy Lewis, Alice Alexander and husband Tom, Yvonne Hummer and husband Tony; brother Philip Straub and wife Eleanor; sister-in-law Jaret Straub; special cousin Rick Tomko; nieces and nephews.

Private interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.
