Edna Hooper

Edna Hooper, 90, of Luzerne passed away peacefully on December 10, 2020. She was born September 26, 1930 in Swoyersville, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Amelia Koshinski. She was formerly employed in the garment industry and retired from Carmen Dress Factory in Luzerne. Mrs. Hooper was a member of Holy Family Parish and its Altar and Rosary Society. She and her late husband, Claude enjoyed Polka dancing and their vacations to Canada. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and her cat Delilah. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Henry, William, Walter, Albert, Edward, Raymond, and Eugene Koshinski. Surviving are her children, Claudette Robak and her husband, Jerry, Drums, David Hooper and his wife, Gloria, Buck Township; grandchildren, Melissa, Leslie, Dustin and Cortney; great grandchildren, Madeline, Jimmy, Emma, Riley, Teagan, Kane and Kayden; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. from Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Ltd. 568 Bennett Street, Luzerne, with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 in Holy Family Parish. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Swoyersville. Friends may call Sunday from 4-7 p.m. and Monday from 9-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to: SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 East Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
