Edward Fronzoni

Edward P. Fronzoni, Sr., of Clearwater, Florida and formerly of Mountain Top passed away on September 27, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Plains Township. He was born February 5, 1936, son of the late Jules and Margaret Fronzoni.

A graduate of Larksville High School, Ed was employed as a truck driver for many years working for General Foam and Tenneco. A devoted Catholic he was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Clearwater, Florida. Prior to moving to Clearwater he was a member of St. Jude’s parish in Mountaintop. He was an active 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Mountain Top Council. Ed loved to travel and was an avid pinochle player.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Rose Marie (Angelo) Fronzoni; brothers John and Paul; sister Dolores Madison.

Surviving are his children, Edward P. Fronzoni, Jr., and Andrea (Bill) Balavage; grandchildren, Elysia Balavage and Preston Balavage; sister, Mary Watkins, several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday October 22 at 10:15 in Holy Family Parish, Bennett Street, Luzerne. Friends may call at the church from 9 am until the time of service. Condolences can be sent to: betzjastremski.com.
