John N. Malloy, Iii

John N. Malloy III, 37, passed away during his visit home to Luzerne on July 26, 2021. Born September 4, 1983 in Kingston he was the son of John N. Malloy Jr. and Patricia Malloy. When John was younger there was not a day you would not find him fishing at a river, lake or pond. He was an intricate part of The Rainbow Family and was big on cooking and feeding the family. No one went hungry when he was around, no one was cold, and no one went without what they needed. He loved traveling throughout the country and was an amazing dog dad to his beloved best friend, Gravity, who was by his side wherever he went. John also loved music, dancing, singing and simply enjoying life. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents John is survived by his sisters, Erin and Kaitlin Malloy, nieces Myla and Maeve, grandmother, Jewell Malloy, and cousin Cara McManus Watson, who was like a sister to him. Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Tim and Maryann McManus, Tara and Larry Territo, Sean McManus, Kati McManus, Sandra and Jody Brown, and numerous cousins. John was preceded in death by his grandparents, John N. Malloy Sr., Timothy McManus Sr. and Karen McManus. He gave so much and asked for so little. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the committal services which will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 12:00 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.
