Mary Ann Mesaros

Mary Ann Mesaros, formerly of Luzerne passed away on August 19, 2025 in Salida, Colorado where she resided for the past several years.
She was born in Luzerne in 1934 the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Kozokas. She was a 1952 graduate of Luzerne High School and she and her husband John resided in Luzerne until they moved to Fairless Hills in 1967.

Mary Ann later resided in Albrightsville with her son John and Salida, Colorado with her son, David. She was an active participant in the communities where she lived and served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Francis Cabrini Church. She traveled to Europe and other locations with her church group.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dorothy in 1967.

Surviving are her children, John Mesaros and his wife Elizabeth, David Mesaros and his wife Ellen; grandchildren and their families, Jason, Britt and their daughters Keira and Cadence; Bryan, Dina and their children Bryan Jr., Johnny, Natalie; granddaughter-in-law Sharon Schilk; siblings, Jeanne Stesney and Beverly Kascsak and their families; nieces and nephews.

 A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 15 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family Parish, 574 Bennett Street, Luzerne. Interment will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Lehman. Friends may call Monday from 8:30 - 9:45 at Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Ltd, 568 Bennett Street, Luzerne.
