Raymond W. Gerlack, Jr.

Raymond William Gerlach, Jr., 72, of Luzerne passed away on August 19, 2021 with his children at his bedside. He was born January 20, 1949 and was a brick mason and construction entrepreneur. Raymond lived and worked in the Bethlehem area for many years, he was a private contractor for the Bethlehem steel company during this time. He later migrated into the stucco industry, mainly working in New Jersey, where he began doing various residential, commercial and government projects. Raymond was an avid hunter that loved to be at his family's cabin with his cousin Joseph Stankowski, his late cousin Kenneth Gerlach, his father, son, grandchildren and many other family & friends over the years. He is survived by his parents Raymond William Gerlach Sr., 96, and Elizabeth Gerlach, 94, of Luzerne; his sister Joyce Cooper, Portland Oregon, his daughter Ranee’ Gerlach-Smith, Hanover Township, Son Raymond Howard Gerlach Sr., Larksville, daughter Jessica Gerlach, Whitehall, and his grandchildren. Raymond, Brittany, Jacob, Kendra, Jordan, Emily, Brandon, Allie and Daniel. A private memorial service will be held at a date and time to be determined.
