Richard A. Rosenko, 83, of Luzerne, passed away on April 11, 2021 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He was born January 26, 1938 in Swoyersville, a son of the late Francis Rosenko and Mary Rosenko Stiles. He attended Swoyersville High School and operated Richie and Sons Auto Repair in Luzerne for over 60 years. He enjoyed model airplanes, fishing and restoring antique cars. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Wyoming Valley RCA Flyers and the Ford Retractable Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Florence Rosenko, his wife, Ann Bartorillo Rosenko, who died on February 17, 2011 and son, Richard Rosenko, Jr., who died on March 24, 2011, brothers, Michael and Frank Rosenko, and sister, Barbara Capozza. Surviving are his sons, Paul Rosenko and his wife Romaine, Swoyersville, Chris Rosenko, Luzerne, Clark Rosenko, Luzerne, Brian Rosenko and his fiancé Stephanie, Shavertown; grandchildren, Ricky, Rebecca, Evan Rosenko; sister, Marie Salvaggio and her husband Thomas, Plains, brother, David Rosenko and his companion Debbie, Wilkes-Barre, nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. from Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, 568 Bennett Street, Luzerne, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in Holy Family Parish. Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
