Robert E. Falletta Sunrise Sunset August 16, 1979 November 19, 2020 Robert E. Falletta, of Luzerne passed away on November 19, 2020. Born August 16, 1979 in Hackensack, New Jersey, Rob was a talented artist, musician, and a kind father, brother, and son. Rob graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School and Luzerne County Community College with a degree in graphic arts. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marywood University and was pursuing his Masters degree. His goal was to teach art in a college setting. Before his education Rob was the front man for his heavy metal band, Drain the Life, where he and his bandmates wreaked chaos and havoc at every show. He made it exciting to watch a true showman. The height of the band’s success was performing at the Warped Tour and his numerous shows at the Sherman Theater opening up for national acts. Rob also worked in the family construction business. He was also the best friend and big brother anyone could ask for. To his friends and family he was always there for them unconditionally. With his constant companions by his side Harley, Doodle, and Baya, they watched as he created his next masterpiece on canvas. His artwork was always stunning and cutting edge. It went from his imagination to canvas, and was sometimes shocking but most of all always beautiful. As a master painter he strived for perfection. Most of all he will be missed for his sense of humor, kindness and his loyalty to the few who meant the most to him. Rob recently became a Godfather to his nephew, Constantine; he was so proud to be asked. Rob is survived by his daughters, Katelynn and Samantha (his bear), and his companion Lindsay. Also surviving are his brother, Carmine, and his family Tiffany and Constantine; his parents, William and Jo Ann Falletta, of Luzerne, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Rob was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Annie L. Falletta and John M. Falletta; his uncle Salvatore Falletta; maternal grandfathers, Joseph Hebda and Bernard Mackey. The family would like to thank the staff of the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital ICU for their unrelenting care and the love they gave Rob in his time of need. To a great father, son, brother, and uncle we love you and miss you and you will be forever in our hearts. Relatives and friends may call Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Ltd, 568 Bennett Street, Luzerne.
