Robert Mclaughlin

Robert McLaughlin, 85 of Kingston Township, sadly passed away peacefully on June 22, 2021 at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. He was born in Kingston on October 12, 1935 to Robert and Bessie Palmer McLaughlin. He married Mary (Hanko) McLaughlin on October 1, 1955 and they would have been married 66 years this year. Robert was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps. Throughout his career he worked at Princeton and was also self employed. He later worked for Air Products in Wilkes-Barre until his retirement. He was a faithful member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. Robert will be missed by his loving wife, Mary; children Robert and his wife Jayne, Patricia and her husband David, and Victor and his wife Donna; grandchildren, Elena, Melissa, Robert, Jesse, Jordan and Scott; great grandchildren Sophia, Ezra, Jack and Rosalie. Relatives and friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Ltd., 568 Bennett Street, Luzerne. A private funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Parish. Interment with military honors will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in Robert’s memory to: Holy Family Parish, 574 Bennett Street, Luzerne, PA 18709.
