Thomas J. Blight, Sr.

Thomas James Blight, Sr., of Luzerne passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at his home. He was born in Junedale a son of Jack and Marie Sweeney Blight. He was a graduate of Luzerne High School and served his country during the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic.

He was employed at Procter and Gamble for many years and also operated Blight’s Shooting Supplies out of his home. He was known to be an excellent deer hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine and brother, Lawrence.

Surviving are his son, Thomas James Blight, Jr.; granddaughter Carlyn Blight; sister Judy Blight.

Private funeral services will be held.
